The Post Food Hall will bring North Shore food business into a larger market and harness the resources of a single shared space. This project is designed to be a food incubator and act as a bridge for entrepreneurs and existing restaurants wanting to grow or start a food business without the burden of huge overhead expenses. Here they can test their products and work out their systems all while receiving business development support. This project will bring 12-14 new midscale and upscale retail food businesses to the downtown Waukegan business district by the Fall of 2020. 130 new full- and part-time jobs will be created. The Post will be hosting a myriad of different vendors who are local farmers, artisans, and chefs.
